Chuck DeSander, the seasoned pitmaster behind Chuckie D's BBQ, boasts over three decades of barbecue expertise. Alongside his renowned eatery, Chuck also helms Specialized Deer Processing, demonstrating his prowess in the meat industry. Beyond his culinary ventures, Chuck embodies a deep commitment to his family, team, and community. He cherishes the relationships forged through his businesses and endeavors to give back to the community he serves.
Eager to enrich local life, he eagerly explores innovative ways to contribute positively. His plans to extend operating hours at the VFW hall by introducing Wednesdays this summer not only cater to barbecue aficionados but also foster a stronger sense of community engagement.
As the weather changes, you can also find Chuck and his truck at Uncle John’s Cider Mill on weekends between August and November.
